“The North Carolina World Trade Association is delighted to recognize these exceptional firms, agencies, and organizations. Individually and collectively, they’ve made a huge contribution to the economic development of the state and helped North Carolinians enjoy the many benefits of the global marketplace. I can think of no better place to recognize such trade all-stars as at a conference entitled Winning with Global Trade. The recipients are truly winners in every respect.” Roger Rains, NCWTA Past President, 2004 Overview The North Carolina World Trade Association presented its 2004 international trade awards at its 39th annual conference at the Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina, on September 16, 2004. Presented in five categories, the awards recognized excellence in trade activities as well as contributions to the international trade community. Having considered nominations from across the state, the NCWTA Executive Committee selected winners in three primary categories and two special awards.
